Install

Install embedlabs-mcp with curl or npm, run it with npx, or build it from source.

With curl

Install the bud and bloom terminal commands:

curl -fsSL https://mcp.embedlabs.net/install.sh | sh

MCP clients start the server with npx. Pin the version:

npx -y embedlabs-mcp@0.1.0

Configure your MCP client to start the server with this command: Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex.

A global install puts bud and bloom on your path:

npm install -g embedlabs-mcp@0.1.0
bud auth login --url https://bud.example.com
bud runs list --limit 5

git clone https://github.com/MbedLabs/embedlabs-mcp
cd embedlabs-mcp
npm install
npm run build
node dist/cli.js

npm run check builds and runs the tests. npm run inspect opens the MCP Inspector against the server.
