Common questions about embedlabs-mcp.
Does it need both Bud and Bloom? No. Configure one product or both; the other’s tools return sign-in steps if called.
Which AI model does it use? None. It is a tool server; your MCP client brings the model.
Can it break my data? It can do what your account can do in the web app, nothing more. Tools that change data are marked, and clients usually ask before running them. Use a read-only account to keep it read-only.
Can it approve documents? No. Review and approval are recorded in the Bloom web app only.
Does it work offline or air-gapped? Yes, as long as the machine reaches your Bud and Bloom instances and has the npm package installed.
What is the license? EmbedLabs Source Available License 1.0, like Bud and Bloom.
